What are the layers of the FRP tank

The structure of the FRP storage tank is generally four layers: an inner liner layer, a secondary inner layer, a reinforcement layer, and an outer protective layer.

The role of the inner liner of the FRP storage tank: usually a resin-rich layer composed of a polyester surface felt and a lining resin, the resin content is 80%-90%, and the large container is not less than 90%. It is an anti-seepage and anti-corrosion layer with good air tightness and high finish.

The role of the inner layer of the FRP tank: (also known as the intermediate corrosion-resistant layer) is usually reinforced with a lining resin and a knitted felt, the resin content is 68% - 78%, and the large container is 75 ± 3%. In addition to being corrosion-resistant, the main function is to protect the inner liner to protect or prevent the crack propagation of the inner liner.

FRP tank structure layer: The structure is entangled by the method of combining the ring-shaped and cross-crossing with the alkali-free and untwisted glass fiber winding yarn, and the resin content is 25%-40%, and the large container is 35±5%. The role is to withstand a variety of stresses and external loads. The wall thickness is determined by our company's designers with reference to the technical specifications and engineering drawings provided by you, using Italian imported software and database, according to the fiber-wound FRP design specifications, through reasonable and scientific calculation of the product's hoop stress, axial stress, The bending Poisson's ratio coefficient is finally determined.

The outer surface layer of the FRP tank protects the tank from external corrosion and prevents aging. The resin content is not less than 70%.
