As the generator is usually in an automatic state, its electronic control module ECM monitors the state of the whole unit and the contact between the EMCP control panel is maintained by battery power supply. When the external battery charger failure, the battery power can not be replenished resulting in voltage drop.
At this point the battery must be charged. The charging time depends on the discharge of the battery and the rated current of the charger. In case of emergency, it is generally recommended to replace the battery.
2. Check whether the terminal post of the battery is in poor contact with the connecting cable
Battery electrolyte in peacetime maintenance if the complement is too much, easy to overflow the battery surface corrosion terminal increased the contact resistance so that the cable is not connected. In this case, sand paper can be used to grind the corroded layer between the terminal and the cable joint, and then re-tighten the screws to make full contact.
3. Whether the positive and negative terminal cables of the starting motor are loosely connected or not, and the connection is loose due to vibration during the operation of the generator, resulting in poor contact
The probability of starting motor failure is small, but it cannot be excluded. To judge the starting motor's action, you can touch the starting motor's shell with your hand at the moment of starting the engine. If the starting motor is motionless and the shell is cold, it means the motor is not moving. Or the starter motor is seriously hot, there is a burning smell, the motor coil has been burned. Repair motor needs a long time to recommend direct replacement.
4. Air is injected into the fuel system
This is a common failure, usually caused by improper handling of the replacement of fuel filter cartridge into the air. After the air enters the pipeline with the fuel, the fuel content in the pipeline is reduced, and the pressure is reduced, resulting in the engine being unable to start. Exhaust treatment is required at this time.
