The Diesel Generator

Diesel generator set is a kind of small power generation equipment that refers to the power machinery that uses diesel fuel and other fuels to drive the generator to generate electricity. The entire set of units is generally composed of diesel engines, generators, control tanks, fuel tanks, batteries for start-up and control, protection devices, emergency cabinets and other components. The whole can be fixed on the basis of positioning and can also be mounted on the trailer for mobile use. Diesel generator sets are non-continuously operated power generation equipment. If the continuous operation exceeds 12 H, the output power will be lower than the rated power by about 90 %. Although the power of diesel generator sets is low, it is widely used in mines, railways, field sites, road traffic maintenance, and factories, enterprises, hospitals and other departments as backup or temporary power supply due to its small size, flexibility, lightness, and complete equipment for operation and maintenance.
